How to create the best training environment.

Getting started.

Assignments

These are quick wins, the commitment from delegates for extra work prior to a course is minimal … and typically commitment increases when the benefits from the course are apparent.

For a company, the pre course work is done by management as well as the training department.

  • • Clear learning objectives
  • • Management feedback on delegates everyday performance or a last appraisal summary
  • • Intergration of new training into the company wide picture
  • • Getting the right people and combination of people attending a course

The environment – it really does matter

  • • It helps to be away from the office, not even in walking distance!
  • • Fresh air with windows to open (no air conditioning) and enough natural light
  • • Getting the flow of the day right with enough breaks and food that isn't too heavy

Post course:

  • • There is an optional reading list
  • • A simple system to chart progress -
  • the Next-Level Log Book ensures all skills are evaluated and integrated
