Google Stadia is “the fastest way to experience” ‘Football Manager 2020’.

Developer Sports Interactive has revealed playing the in-depth simulator on the highly anticipated streaming service will mean matches are processed quicker, and fans can have more leagues loaded into their saves.

Miles Jacobson – the company’s studio director – explained:

“‘Football Manager’ on Stadia includes technology that is only available on that platform, utilising the power of the cloud and Google’s data centres to ensure that more matches can be processed in parallel utilising spare bandwidth across the whole system – this means you can have more leagues loaded into your save, or just go for a faster experience by keeping the amount of leagues the same, but having the matches process quicker than you can on any other platform.”

The full game will be released in early November on PC, Mac and Stadia, while the Touch (PC, Mac, iOS and Android) and Mobile versions will launch around the same time.

Nintendo Switch gamers will be able to play ‘Football Manager 2020 Touch’ from late November.

Meanwhile, once again players will be able to pre-purchase to get beta access around two weeks before release, and careers started in this way can be carried over to the full game.
