The aim is to work as a team to empty the boss’ health bar before all three of their lives run out.
Meanwhile, last month it was revealed that Terminator T-800 and The Joker are set to join the game for a DLC pack.
Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios unveiled a list of characters joining the roster, including The Terminator – who will resemble Arnold Schwarzenegger’s alter ego – and Batman’s nemesis.
Ed Boon, NetherRealm Studios creative director, previously tweeted that the team behind the game are working to add more fighters who will join evil warlock Shang Tsung in battle.
“Fingers Krossed…. if all goes well, next week we will be announcing the fighters that will be joining Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 11’s DLC !! (sic)”
Nightwolf recently joined the game.
It was known for some time that the Nicaraguan Native American shaman and historian – who first featured in the gaming franchise in ‘Mortal Kombat 3’ – was joining ‘MK11’.
The character hadn’t been playable since ‘Mortal Kombat 9’, which was released in 2011.
