About Nicola Price

You could say I fell into training. After grinding to a halt in a big sales presentation, having to sit back down in front of 120 people sharpened my resolve to beat my inability to breathe and present at the same time. I started to teach what I needed to learn, so I began with presentation training!

15 years as a trainer and coach has allowed me to work worldwide, across organisations and in a variety of market sectors, tailoring course delivery to the needs of teams and individuals.  I have enjoyed the opportunity of working with inspiring clients and a wide variety of other coaches and trainers.

It has been mind expanding and heart warming, listening to the stories of many people and discovering the strength and the frailty of human nature.

I see people and their broken wings. To reach adulthood unscathed is rare. How people protect that broken wing manifests itself in many ways. Protective strategies create a by-pass to pain, sometimes conscious but more often than not, the behaviour is unconscious.

I see people expand their options and way of being when challenging their beliefs, transforming their experience of life in their family and organisations. I observe what it is they do and how they integrate sustainable change.

In 2009 I realised a long-held desire to take a year's sabatical, live in France and learn the language (it was both humbling and thrilling!). It gave me time to read, research and explore the industry of people development.

As I'm approaching 50 I was also keen to explore the physical element of wellness and insure I have a healthy trajectory through my second fifty years!

I discovered and fell in love with Nia (see Nia link). It incorporates the elements of body along with mind and emotions and has given a balance to the work that I do and integrates perfectly, overlapping in so many ways.
