The ‘Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night’ Switch port is now in a “nearly identical state for content” as the console and PC versions.
Publisher 505 Games has updated players on its official forums, and confirmed that update 1.04 includes stability improvements – such as fixes for crashes while interacting with bookcases – and various “bug fixing” after a troubled launch on Nintendo’s hardware back in June.
Other issues addressed include “an issue with corruption during dialogue which could lead to crash” and performance boosts “related to animations”.
In a post, the studio said:
“While we will continue to work on overall performance improvements for Switch, this update brings the game’s platforms to a nearly identical state for content.
“This is an important step leading into the upcoming Zangetsu release, which we will talk more about in the near future.”
Meanwhile, 505 noted that regions which haven’t yet received the 1.03 patch – SE Asia and Korea – will have all those included in 1.04.
