The Super Smash Bros. champion – who retired from the competitive scene in March 2019 but still streams regularly on Twitch and YouTube – has announced that he has signed a deal to move from Twitch to Facebook.
Barrios – who is a Guinness World Record-holding Smash Bros. competitor – holds the longest tournament winning streak at 53.
He accumulated the wins between November 2014 to October 2015 and has over 500,000 subscribers on Twitch.
Barrios said:
“I’m going to be moving over to Facebook Gaming as my main streaming platform. Facebook is going to allow me to do other things and explore other options.
“I want to give a big thank you to the previous platform that really allowed me to just change my life. I’m always going to be forever thankful, especially because I was one of the very first partners for what I do.”
